Tuesdays 9am to 4pm.
Students will work on English Language Arts, History/Social Studies, Math, Science, and American Sign Language. Elementary and Middle_High School level math classes will have homework. Optional additional work will be sent home for all other subjects. *Prices are per 8 week session* |

Hybrid Homeschool 1st to 3rd GradeELA: Foundational skills in phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary development and comprehension Social Studies: Focus on neighborhood and community roles, basic geography concepts, important holidays and cultural traditions Science: Hands-on exploration, engineering, games and crafts focused on developing scientific inquiry skills, such as observation, investigation and experimentation Math: Use of manipulatives and concrete materials to explore foundational concepts such as counting, basic addition and subtraction, simple geometry, patterns, measurement, and beginning number sense (students should be able to count and recognize numbers to 100) American Sign Language: Learn basic vocabulary related to everyday life taught through games and songs |
Hybrid Homeschool 4th to 6th GradeELA: Develop strong reading, writing and comprehension skills through literature Social Studies: Explore continents, countries and cultures around the globe, and how culture and physical geography interact Science: An integrated approach to science, exploring biology, chemistry, and physical science and seeing the ways in which they connect and influence each other Math: Students will work on all the skills needed to be ready for Pre-Algebra. (Students need to know all their addition, subtraction and multiplication facts through 10x10) American Sign Language: Learn beginner ASL including the alphabet, common vocabulary and an exploration of deaf culture |
Hybrid Homeschool Middle_High School
ELA: Short story literature analysis, and building vocabulary through Greek and Latin roots
Ancient History: explore the world from prehistorical times through the Fall of Rome
Chemistry: Explore the elements that make up the universe and how they undergo changes, and the role of Chemistry in the real world. Students must be able to safely work with open flames and hot plates.
(This class will cover different material from our regular Chemistry classes and can be taken by students who have previously taken Chemistry)
Math: Select from Pre-Algebra or Algebra 1. (Placement test will be done the first day of class)
American Sign Language: Learn beginner ASL including the alphabet, common vocabulary, and explore deaf culture.
