Hybrid Homeschool 1st to 3rd Grade
ELA: Foundational skills in phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary development and comprehension
Social Studies: Focus on neighborhood and community roles, basic geography concepts, important holidays and cultural traditions
Science: Hands-on exploration, engineering, games and crafts focused on developing scientific inquiry skills, such as observation, investigation and experimentation
Math: Use of manipulatives and concrete materials to explore foundational concepts such as counting, basic addition and subtraction, simple geometry, patterns, measurement, and beginning number sense (students should be able to count and recognize numbers to 100)
American Sign Language: Learn basic vocabulary related to everyday life taught through games and songs
